Ash Lea School governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Work Experience, Careers and Transition Coordinator to join our team. They will provide the learners with a range of opportunities to experience the world of work, build strong relationships with employers and support pupils during key transitions in making choices for their future. This position is offered on a permanent contract with an immediate start date.

Ash Lea is a special school for children from 3-18 years old with severe and complex educational needs located in Cotgrave.

The successful candidate will have achieved a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relatable field. Be able to demonstrate excellent telephone and face to face communication skills with confidence, essential to developing good working relationships with all stakeholders and securing work placement opportunities. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, a child centred approach, being proactive and a passion for achieving outcomes for children with SEND is essential. You must be able to work well in a team and manage your workload independently.
