Tutor - Functional Skills Maths and English

Inspire Learning is keen to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Functional Skills/GCSE tutor to deliver Maths and English courses to young people on its study programmes in Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield and across South Nottinghamshire.

If you are interested in inspiring and motivating young people to achieve their potential, we want to hear from you. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and outstanding tutor to deliver City and Guilds and OCR qualifications to young people who have often previously struggled to engage and reach their potential in Maths and English.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2. He or she will also need to be qualified to at least grade A-C in GCSE (or equivalent) in these subjects. Experience of delivering GCSE Maths or English would be an advantage, although training will be provided. A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET, or equivalent) is also desirable, though the candidate could be willing to work towards.
