Social Worker – Children’s Disability Service

Recently rated as ‘Good’ by OFSTED, Nottinghamshire has a dedicated Children with Disabilities Service, this post is for a qualified social worker to join a stable and supportive team.
Children’s Disability Service is a countywide frontline service safeguarding vulnerable children whilst also supporting children with appropriate packages of support.
Social Workers will work with children and young people for the duration of their time with social care which includes the child and family assessment through to permanence if appropriate.
This role will involve working with some of the most vulnerable young people in Nottinghamshire and will enhance your skills, both in terms of communication, and identifying how to protect our most vulnerable young people. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to work closely alongside disability support services in delivering packages of support. The service benefits from its own assessment team and two longer term teams; one covering the North of the county and one covering the South.
