Nottinghamshire Adult Social Care & Public Protection is looking for flexible and highly motivated experienced Social Workers. As a Peripatetic Social Worker, you will work across all adult social work teams to cover for existing staff taking secondment opportunities in our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) teams. Your substantive post will be in either the MASH or DoLS team.

You will need to demonstrate a proficiency to work across all areas of adult social care and be a positive role model to colleagues. You will be able to provide examples of your ability to think and work creatively and develop environments where others are encouraged and supported to explore new ways of working. In addition, to demonstrate these skills and experiences, you must be highly adaptive and able to build good working relationships quickly in order to make a successful contribution to the teams you will work in.

To be a success in these challenging roles, effective communication, flexibility and strong IT skills are essential. You should have professional experience of working with different agencies, service users and families. You should have a thorough working knowledge of the relevant policy and legislation which underpins the social work role. You will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for Making Safeguarding Personal.
