£16,481 - £17,891 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Based within the countywide remit of Transport & Travel Services, Fleet Operations Team at Abbey Road West Bridgford, Nottingham, you will be enthusiastic, flexible and have proven passenger vehicle driving skills with D/ D1 licence and be competent in the use of a variety of vehicles. You must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and communicate effectively at all times, whilst maintaining confidentiality.

The ability to meet tight schedules and make decisions are requirements of the post, as is the ability to work on your own initiative.

You must be able to work under pressure, meet customer needs where practical and be sensitive to the confidential nature of the work and have an understanding and commitment to the County Council’s Equal Opportunities Policy.

The 12 vacancies consist of:


Two Posts – 37 hours per week.  D licence. Nottingham


Three Posts - 37 hours D1 Licence, Various locations Nottinghamshire


Four Posts - 25 Hours Split Shift, Ashfield, Broxtowe Worksop,


One Post - 26 Hours Split Shift. Nottingham Area


One post - 25 hours split shift term time only,  Mansfield Area
