Public Health and Commissioning Manager
The Public Health Division at Nottinghamshire County Council commissions a range of Public Health services and works with other organisations to improve health and wellbeing in the population and reduce health inequalities.
We now have a permanent vacancy for an experienced public health professional to join our team, whose role will be to work on the commissioning, transformation and development of a range of public health services for children and young people aged 0-19, and their families.
Qualified to degree level (or able to demonstrate equivalent qualification through experience), you must have relevant experience in Public Health or related work as well as experience of building partnerships and working collaboratively with others.
You will be a good communicator, highly organised and flexible, with well-developed planning and problem-solving skills,
The post will be hosted within the Nottinghamshire Children and Young People’s Integrated Commissioning Hub (ICH) at County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham
Requests for flexible working will be considered. A job share scheme is also available. Nottinghamshire County Council has a NHS Pension Direction Order in place, which means that we are able to provide ongoing access to the NHS Pension Scheme (NHSPS) where we recruit eligible new joiners to public health roles who are already in the NHSPS.
