This post provides an excellent opportunity to use your experience and develop your career by working in a busy team providing advice, support and training to managers in corporate departments and senior leaders and governing bodies in Nottinghamshire schools. This full time permanent post reports to a Senior HR Business Partner.

You will have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a HR function, including and preferably within a local government/public sector, proven track record in providing HR advice and support and have a relevant HR qualification or be working towards MCIPD or equivalent. You will have line management experience, be organised, self-motivated, have experience of working in a unionised environment, excellent communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of current employment legislation and case law. You will be expected to quickly develop excellent working relationships with managers and school based senior leaders to effectively provide solution focused professional HR advice and support on policies and terms and conditions of employment and a range of complex HR casework, including disciplinary, grievance, safer recruitment, attendance, capability and redundancy.
