Nottinghamshire Community Learning and Skills Service has a vacancy for an experienced Apprenticeship and Traineeship coordinator to help us to grow our provision in 2016/17 and beyond.

Do you know how to encourage employers from a number of sectors to embrace the opportunity of recruiting an Apprentice or a Trainee?  Are you familiar with the incentives, including the AGE Grant and local support initiatives, that encourage employers to hire a new Apprentice or Trainee?  Are you dynamic and tenacious enough to ensure that demanding targets for the recruitment of Apprentices and Trainees can be met and exceeded?  If you can answer yes to these questions, then Nottinghamshire Community Learning and Skills Service would love to hear from you.

This is a challenging but very rewarding post.  We are a new Apprenticeship provider, and the successful post holder will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in order to develop and grow our offer to Apprentices and Trainees.  You will have a Nottinghamshire County wide remit, with a focus on Ashfield and Mansfield districts, and you will bring your experience from an FE College or ITP background, in order to grow our provision.

You will identify and secure new Apprenticeship and Traineeship opportunities with local employers, liaise with prospective Apprentices and Trainees, and ensure that the appropriate work based assessments and off the job learning is in place.  You will act as the first contact between Nottinghamshire Community Learning and Skills Service and our major contracting organisations and other key internal and external stakeholders.

Nottinghamshire Community Learning and Skills Service is a multi-million pound training Service within the wider Inspire organisation.  Inspire is a new Community Benefit Society which is owned by its community and staff membership.  This is a unique opportunity to join a new thriving local mutual that is making a difference to lives of people across Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Inspire is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from candidates who may wish to embrace non-traditional working patterns, including job-share and other arrangements.

This vacancy is closed to applications.
