Key Stage 1 and 2 Class teacher / PE and Extended Services Coordinator

Permanent
Full Time
Richard Bonington Primary School, Calverton Road, Nottingham NG5 8FQ
MPS – Band B – UPS 1 starting point will be based on candidates experience

The governors of Richard Bonington Primary School are seeking to appoint two teachers from the beginning of the Spring 2016 term.

We are looking for highly committed, talented and creative teachers, dedicated to providing the best possible education for our pupils. As outstanding teachers, the successful candidates will achieve excellent standards of attainment through providing an exciting, creative and stimulating curriculum.

Initially, the post holder is likely to be working across school, covering leadership and PPA time. However, as school priorities evolve, the successful applicant may teach a class.

The post holder will coordinate and monitor teaching and learning in PE, and will manage the school’s extended services provision, developing links with the community as appropriate. No experience coordinating PE in primary schools is necessary, though experience of leading any curriculum area would be beneficial, as would knowledge and enthusiasm for sport and physical education.

For this post, leadership and management release time will be provided as appropriate.

Richard Bonington Primary School is an exciting place to teach and learn. Our outgoing, confident and talented pupils are a pleasure to teach. We are fortunate that our school is set within extensive grounds with excellent facilities both inside and outdoors – we are very excited to have recently opened a ‘state of the art’ £1.5 million foundation unit.

If you feel we could be the school for you – please don’t hesitate to visit us – telephone the office to make an appointment.
