The Governors of Tollerton Primary School wish to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 teacher from early January 2016. It is anticipated that this will be until the end of the Summer Term or possibly longer as it is covering a maternity leave.

Tollerton Primary School is an “Outstanding” school (Ofsted May 2010) We are committed to following a creative, broad and balanced curriculum following a topic based approach. Our children are motivated and well supported at home and we achieve very high standards. The staff are experienced and dedicated and work well within a friendly and supportive team. We believe that continuous, professional development is vital and provide it for every member of the staff.

We are looking for an excellent classroom teacher who:

  • Believes that every child matters
  • Is a positive team player who will work co-operatively within our Key Stage 2 team.
  • Has high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.
  • Has a cross curricular approach to teaching and learning.
  • Will be creative and innovative and believes that learning should be fun, exciting and enjoyable.
  • Can provide a stimulating, creative, safe and happy learning environment.
