£14,975 - £16,191 pro rata (£7.76 - £8.39 per hour): A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour.

Building Cleaning Services in conjunction with the Governing Body are seeking to employ a Caretaker to join our existing cleaning team.

Stanhope Primary School is an outstanding school. We are committed to high standards and seek to appoint a Caretaker who is eager to work as part of a team to maintain these high standards. There is also the availability for the post holder to occupy the school bungalow which is situated within the school grounds

The school has a proven track record for delivering high quality education to children and we are therefore seeking to attract a caretaker to maintain the school to a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The role of caretaker is demanding and the successful candidate will be expected to deliver the full range of Caretaking, Maintenance, Janitorial and Cleaning duties for both the interior and exterior of the building as laid down by site. The successful candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY, dealing with contractors and fault identification and work based Health and Safety for both him/herself and others in a workplace environment.,. It will also be a requirement that electrical cleaning machinery such as buffing machines must be used periodically
