We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys working with young people to join our school. The role will require you to take a lead on reducing absences by working proactively with students and their families to promote the highest levels of attendance and aim for students to achieve 95.5% attendance or above. You will be monitoring attendance issues on a daily/weekly/half termly/termly and annual basis and will be reporting to the Deputy Head responsible for Attendance. Home visits and truancy sweeps may be necessary and supporting the delivery of interventions to help remove barriers to education in a timely manner will be carried out. You will also be working closely with our Pastoral team in school.

You should be flexible and willing to contribute to various areas of the school as necessary. Previous experience in this role is desirable but a willingness to work as a team and form positive relationships with students and their family is essential.
