Grade 5, Spinal Column Point 24 - 28, £21,530 - £24,472 per annum (£19,062.33 - £21,667.13 pro rata per annum)

Our academy is seeking to appoint a Family Support Worker to work closely with our leadership team to support our students and their families’ social, physical, emotional and economic well-being at individual and collective level. The post-holder will complete a varied work load from providing appropriate intervention services for parents/carers to writing EHAF’s and CAF’s and attending safeguarding, children in need and other multi agency meetings on behalf of the academy.

The successful applicant will have as a minimum:

  • GCSE’s (Grade C or above in English and Maths)
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection and experience of working within the social care framework
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good IT skills for general administration and support student learning.
  • Experience of working with members of the public including young people in the 11 – 19 age range
