Nottinghamshire County Council recognises the essential contribution that Occupational Therapists make towards promoting the independence of people with disability and age related conditions.

We already have an innovative and effective occupational therapy-led reablement service; and this additional post will focus on providing timely reablement intervention to people who have just been discharged from hospital into a temporary homecare service.

You will provide training to, and work closely with, the homecare provider to promote a strong home-first and reablement approach, in order to enhance effectiveness and capacity.

NCC staff enjoy access to the latest mobile working technology and professionally-led clinical support and supervision.

Candidates will be required to work flexibly including some weekend/Bank Holidays as requested.

Grades will be Hay band A or B depending on experience.

The post will cover the south Nottinghamshire Districts of Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.
