£7.52 - £7.66/£7.76 - £8.39 per hour - A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour

Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Service in conjunction with Hawtonville Childrens Centre requires a new Caretaker/Cleaner. Working a total 17.5 hours week you will be required to clean a designated area & complete compliance checks for the benefit of users & staff.

The two separate posts will form a split shift with key holder responsibilities for securing the building at the end of the day. The hours of duty will be 6.00am to 8.30am then 5.30pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

You should have a keen eye for detail, be able to work using your own initiative, & work well with other cleaning staff on site.

A smart appearance is essential, with a uniform provided

Hawtonvile Childrens Centre is a well used building with nursery areas, washrooms, meeting rooms, kitchen areas, and offices.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but ideally we are looking for someone with interest and a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, users and visitors to the site.
