At Nottinghamshire Pension Fund we’re focused on administering The Local Government Pension Scheme for our active, deferred and pensioner members. Exciting times are approaching as we work towards expanding the use of our software system, Civica UPM, to transform processes to develop a more automated approach to processing benefits and an online service for scheme members and employers.
The Pension Administration Team work at the heart of providing this service along the way, supporting scheme members as they approach retirement, providing pension information to our active members who are still in employment as well as supporting those pensioners already receiving their benefits.

This position involves learning about the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations at an operational level and the processing and calculation of Scheme benefits, including deferments, refunds of contributions and transfers across pension funds. There is also involvement in ongoing data and process improvement and record maintenance work.

You’ll be working on a 37 hours per week contract and we operate a flexible working time scheme around this. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts. The team are currently working as a mixture of home working alongside regular face-to-face office time as part of a structured training/team communication programme.
