Rampton Primary School’s Governing Body is seeking a passionate and proactive leader to take up the position in Summer term 2026.

The successful candidate will:

  • Put the children’s academic and pastoral needs at the heart of what they do.
  • Inspire, motivate and support pupils and staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Share in our belief that education is a partnership between pupils, staff and parents/ families.
  • Establish strong links with the wider community.

  • Be able to communicate effectively with the children, staff, parents and governors and be an active listener.
  • Show excellent senior leadership skills, with strong evidence of strategic thinking and planning.
  • Bring creativity and innovation to the future development and direction of the school.
  • Have a detailed and thorough knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety.
