Are you passionate about electric vehicles and sustainable infrastructure? As the Principal Officer for EV Infrastructure, you will lead the charge in planning, delivering, and developing an innovative Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure programme across Nottinghamshire. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys collaboration and is eager to make a difference in our community.

In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of the EV charging infrastructure programme.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, government bodies, network operators, and private sector partners.
  • Shape EV policy and secure funding to support our initiatives.
  • Manage contracts and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor budgets and performance, reporting progress to senior management.
  • Represent Nottinghamshire County Council at public events and meetings, promoting EV adoption and community understanding.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong project management skills, ideally with qualifications such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
  • Knowledge of local government services and how they operate.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
