Teaching Assistant

Required from September 2026, the children, staff and Governors of Costock C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our school on a part-time basis for 1 year to work on Monday to Friday afternoons from 1.00pm - 3.30pm.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our classroom team—helping to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support every learner to achieve their best. 

We are looking for someone who will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
  
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help.
  
• Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and displays that celebrate learning.
  
• Help manage behaviour positively, promoting respect and cooperation.
  
• Support pupils with additional needs, following individual education plans.
