School Business Manager

Due to the retirement of our long standing and much loved Business Manager, we are looking to recruit someone who will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the school's support functions and who will help our whole school community to thrive.

We are looking for a Business Manager:

• who will enable successful teaching and learning across the school through supporting the Head Teachers, Governors, staff and pupils
• who will lead key business areas including finance, administration, IT support, personnel, premises and health and safety management
• who can lead and improve systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient working practices
• who will work with the Head Teachers to identify priorities and contribute to strategic planning in line with the school’s development plans
• who has experience of managing and developing staff, setting clear expectations and ensuring deadlines and standards are met
• who demonstrates excellent communication, discretion and the ability to resolve complex and sensitive issues calmly and effectively
• who will attend Governors’ meetings as required to report on key business areas
• who will work flexibly to meet changing demands and priorities
• who will actively safeguard and promote the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

Visits to our school are warmly welcomed. We recommend that you visit us during the school day so that you can experience our strong family ethos for yourself. However, we realise that this is not always possible and, where this is the case, we are happy to show you around after school or to answer any questions you may have on the telephone.
