From September 2026 we are looking for an excellent, motivated and innovative teacher to join our wonderful team. James Peacock Infant and Nursery School is a welcoming and inclusive school with a strong nurturing ethos. We are looking for someone who:
• Embraces our vision and would work dedicatedly to help all children achieve this.• Delights in being with children, especially at the start of their educational journey, and puts the children’s whole development at the heart of their practice• Has knowledge of excellent teaching and learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage/ Key Stage 1 • Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents• Understands the importance of and demonstrates high quality adult/pupil interactions • Is keen to further develop to our stimulating environment – both indoors and outdoors• Values the integral part of play and active learning in the early developmental stages of a child’s journey• Ability to work as team and use their initiative• Be able to demonstrate effective behavioural management• Values being a member of a strong school community and sincerely values every member of this community, and as such, willingly plays an active part in the wider life of school• Is hardworking, has positive energy and knows how to have fun!
