At Nottinghamshire County Council, we have a range of children’s homes, each designed to meet the diverse needs of the children and young people we support. Every home offers a caring and stable environment, supported by dedicated staff who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for young people.
Our homes include:
Mainstream Children’s HomesOur mainstream homes support children and young people who are unable to live with their families. These homes focus on providing stability, building trusted relationships, and helping young people develop the skills and confidence they need for the future.
Disability HomesOur disability homes provide specialist support for children and young people with physical, learning, or complex needs. Care is tailored to each individual, whether for short breaks (respite) or longer-term stays, with an emphasis on wellbeing, communication, and independence.
Secure Children’s HomeOur secure home provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for young people who may be vulnerable or involved in the youth justice system. The home combines care, education, and therapeutic support to encourage rehabilitation and positive change.
Each of our settings offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in young people’s lives.
