In this role, you will:

• Plan Perfect Menus: Create appetising menus that cater to various dietary requirements.
• Purchase with Purpose: Arrange food purchasing while keeping an eye on costs to ensure we stay within budget.
• Present with Pride: Ensure meals are attractively presented and served in the right portions.
• Monitor and Maintain: Keep track of stock and ensure kitchen areas are secure and clean.
• Ensure Excellence: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, following all safety procedures.
• Check and Confirm: Inspect deliveries for quality and quantity, addressing any issues swiftly.
• Lead and Support: Supervise catering assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Gather Feedback: Collect feedback from service users to improve our menu and service quality.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A relevant catering qualification or experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation and health regulations.
• Strong organisational skills to manage menus and budgets effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
