Be there for your community when they need you most! As the Senior Professional Practitioner leading the Staying Close agenda, you will drive a strong multi-disciplinary approach to enhance support for care-experienced young people aged 16 and above. Your work will directly contribute to their transition to independence, promoting stable accommodation and fostering positive relationships.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners from local authority, health, and specialist support services.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders to ensure effective partnership delivery.
  • Oversee the Staying Close programme, ensuring compliance with grant funding from the Department for Education.
  • Support service development and continuous improvement based on outcomes, data, and feedback.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience of managing contracts, undertaking quality audits or driving service improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience of operating in a multi-agency environment.
  • A sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to children and families.
