Do you want to make a real difference every single day?
Are you passionate about helping children thrive, particularly those who need a little extra support to flourish?
At East Bridgford St Peters CofE Academy we are excited to offer an opportunity for a caring, motivated and dynamic individual to join our team in a newly developed Teaching Assistant role.
This is not a traditional Teaching Assistant position!
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a role that combines classroom support, targeted intervention work and inclusive practice working closely with our SENCo to ensure every child feels supported, understood and able to succeed.
At the heart of our school is our Take Care ethos — taking care of ourselves, each other, our work and our world. We are looking for someone who shares these values and wants to make a genuine difference to children’s experiences in school.
This varied and rewarding role will predominantly work across Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and barriers to learning.
You will work closely with an experienced and supportive team, while having the opportunity to shape meaningful provision that supports children academically, socially and emotionally.
This role may particularly suit someone looking to further develop their expertise in SEND, intervention work and inclusive practice, within a nurturing and supportive school environment.
If you are someone who wants to make a difference, enjoys working creatively and believes every child deserves the chance to thrive, we would love to hear from you.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. To arrange a visit, please contact the school office on 01949 20226 or via office@st-peters.notts.sch.uk.
