Teaching Assistant

Radcliffe on Trent Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team. We are looking for a qualified TA who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential through high-quality classroom support and targeted interventions. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to help pupils access the curriculum, develop independence and make strong progress academically, socially and emotionally.

The role will include supporting teaching and learning within the classroom, delivering structured intervention programmes and providing tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) 
  
• Has experience of supporting pupils within a primary classroom environment 
  
• Has experience delivering interventions to support learning and progress 
  
• Can work effectively with individuals, small groups and whole classes 
  
• Understands how to scaffold learning to promote pupil independence 
  
• Has strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills 
  
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families 
  
• Is organised, flexible and able to work collaboratively as part of a team 
  
• Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
