At Inspire Learning we continue to develop and deliver quality learning opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and difficulties, across Nottinghamshire.
We offer a range of bespoke learning programmes, both accredited and non-accredited, often in partnership with partner services and organisations, for learning disabled adults in our communities. We are now recruiting for a full-time LLDD tutor to join our team, teaching across the county.
We are looking for a well-qualified tutor with experience of working with learning disabled adult learners with a range of skills and of learning and communication needs. The tutor should be a skilled practitioner with experience of delivering ambitious, engaging, supportive, successful and high-quality accredited and non-accredited learning. The delivery will be across a range of subjects but with a concentration on personal and social development and communication. The tutor should have experience of planning, delivering and assessing learning.
The teaching will be mostly in-person and can be anywhere in Nottinghamshire; there may be some online delivery. The tutor will work with, and contribute to, a supported tutor team to continue to develop our LLDD offer, in response to the needs of our community Ideally, the tutor will have knowledge and experience of assessment and IQA processes. An IQA qualification will be beneficial.
The tutor will teach across Nottinghamshire, and online, with an agreed programme of teaching to include daytime, evening and some weekend courses. Because of the travel, access to a car and/or the ability to travel across the county will be advantageous.

The selection process will be carried out without regard to disability, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origins, religion or belief, age, pregnancy and maternity or trade union membership.
