This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Green Spaces team, working alongside other natural and historic environment specialists within the wider Conservation service.
We currently directly manage over 1300 hectares of publicly accessible green space and more than 50 kilometres of linear multi-user routes on behalf of the County Council, including Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Local Nature Reserves and Local Wildlife Sites.
We are now looking for someone who can take forward our existing work with volunteers and Friends groups and develop and promote new opportunities for people to engage with their local green spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with colleagues, community groups, volunteers and partner organisations to develop and implement projects, events and activities on the Council’s green spaces.
