Nottinghamshire is a great place to live and work. The County Council is stable, high performing and has a clear vision for a Healthy, Green and Prosperous County.

As we emerge from the pandemic, we’re looking for the right leader to further develop our Emergency Planning and Registration group of services, which have been key in ensuring an effective local response to the many challenges of the last 2 years.

You’ll be an experienced senior manager and leader with a strong track record in emergency planning in a complex public sector landscape.

You’ll be determined to strengthen further our approach, and you’ll be adept at tackling challenges along the way. You’ll be a visible leader, comfortable with a high corporate profile and with working directly with senior leaders across the Council and its partners. You’ll also have the leadership and commercial skills needed to lead and shape our large registration service, one of our key public facing services. Naturally, you’ll also be able to inspire, energise and motivate those around you. This is a hugely important role for the Council.

For an informal discussion, contact Derek Higton, Service Director for Place and Communities on 0115 977 3498.

A job description is attached, and further information is available on request.
