Teacher of Food Technology
Start date: 2 November 2020
We are seeking to appoint a temporary Teacher of Food Technology to cover maternity leave. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver lessons in food technology to our KS3 pupils and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition in KS4. The successful candidate should demonstrate a high level of competence in a wide range of food skills for effective learning and a passion for food technology to inspire our pupils to broaden their food experiences and nutritional understanding. The department benefits from a well-resourced and recently refurbished food technology classroom and practical lessons are supported by an experienced technician.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a Level 2 Food Safety certificate - this training will be provided if required.
