The Head Teacher and Governors of this thriving school are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and pro-active Behaviour Learning Mentor to join the Broomhill Family. Job Purpose
To provide personal, social, learning support and guidance to individuals and groups of children, young people and those engaged with them and to contribute in identifying and removing barriers to learning both inside and outside the school, in order to achieve their full potential. Support children in developing positive learning behaviours and positive mental health and wellbeing. 

The Learning Mentor will work with children on an individual and group basis, acting as:
1) Listener
2) Facilitator for Learning
3) Encourager
4) Motivator 
5) Role Model

We are looking for someone who has;
1) Experience working in a teaching support role (experience working in a supportive Pastoral role would be advantageous). 
2) Good literacy and numeracy skills gained from general education to GCSE ‘O’ level/ Certificate in Learning Mentoring or relevant national training or willing to work towards, or equivalent qualification or experience together with a working knowledge of national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategies.
