Early Years Specialist Practitioner
West Mansfield Children's Centres are seeking to recruit a Early Years Specialist Practitioner.
You will be involved in the day to day co-ordination and management of the Children's Centre Early Years team, within West Mansfield (Ladybrook, Titchfield and Oakham and Pleasley). You will be an experienced practitioner who will be able to manage a team of Early Years Practitioners and be able to provide a high-quality service to children and families.
You will have a minimum of an NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject and hold 5 GCSEs including English. You will be knowledgeable in Early Years provision, and the Early years foundation stage with a minimum of five years’ experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
You will have excellent assessment skills and the ability to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining confidentiality. Excellent recording, report-writing and IT skills are essential requirements, along with an ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the whole team. You will also be enthusiastic, creative, and flexible with knowledge and experience of safeguarding children.
