An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Housing with Support Team.  The team works across Nottinghamshire to develop and manage supported living services for those who require 24 hour support.

Supported living helps people with a range of support needs retain their independence whilst having the physical and emotional support they need to lead fulfilled lives in their own homes. Nottinghamshire County Council is currently undertaking an ambitious programme of new supported living developments, so this is a great time to be joining the team.

The team works closely with strategic commissioning colleagues to develop new services, review and monitor existing services, work with people who need supported living accommodation, and manage vacancies that arise in supported living.  You will have responsibility for leading specific areas of work, and for providing support to other team members.

You should be a confident, experienced Social Worker who is happy to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.  You will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills in relation to this role.
