An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to work as part of the Shared Lives Scheme, which covers the whole of Nottinghamshire. The post holder will work as part of a supportive team to recruit, monitor, train and support shared lives carers who provide support and care to vulnerable adults in their homes.

It is anticipated that the person appointed will have experience of working with people, to develop skills in supporting vulnerable adults. Experience of working with one or more of the following groups is essential - people with learning disabilities, people who have mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or older people.

You may also be responsible for undertaking assessments with prospective carers, review the work of existing carers and support their training and development needs.

Shared Lives is a service registered by the Care Quality Commission. It is expected that you will work in compliance with the standards of quality and safety associated with this registration.
