We have a vacancy for a Business Support Administrator to support the Child Death Review team, based at Meadow House, Mansfield. The Child Death Review team work with external partners from Health and the police, reflecting on the circumstances of child deaths and identifying learning outcomes to improve practise.

The post holder will be responsible for the organization of monthly Child Death Overview panels, ie. booking venues, anonymising and circulating paperwork, taking minutes and maintaining data on an electronic system. In addition, the post holder will be the administrator for individual Learning Reviews, which arise ad hoc and are subject to strict deadlines. There is also a requirement to travel occasionally to attend meetings elsewhere in Nottinghamshire.

As such, this post requires a driven and resilient individual, able to handle potentially distressing information with due confidentiality, multi-task, plan backwards from non-negotiable deadlines and minute complex meetings. In return, you will have an active and valued voice in discussions about process improvement, learn about Safeguarding procedures across organizational boundaries and join a Stonewall top 100 employer with an excellent package of employee benefits including flexitime.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
