Clerical Assistant
Hours: 15 per week, 5 mornings, start time to be agreed with successful applicant

Our newly refurbished school office has an empty desk just waiting for the right person to join us; you will help to deliver a wide and varied range of clerical, administrative and financial support to our school.
Greythorn is a bright, modern primary school in West Bridgford. Ofsted recently found the school to be good in all areas, but we are hoping to become the best school in the universe in the very near future!

We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent skills in English and Maths
- Experience working with a variety of IT systems including word processing, spreadsheet and database operation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- The ability to prioritise and organise their own workload
Core duties:
To undertake a range of financial management processes including processing orders, resolving issues, reconciling accounts, handling cash.
To develop systems and processes to meet operational needs and to ensure the high quality of information held.
To maintain manual and computerised records using the Academy management information systems, currently PSFinancials, ParentPay and Scholarpack
Administration of pupil data including school admissions
Managing and updating the school website
Undertaking reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and pupils
Assist with pupil’s first aid duties, looking after sick pupils, liaising with parents/staff as required.
To be aware of relevant aspects of GDPR and take an active role in supporting the Date Protection Officer in their duties.
Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
To undertake any other duties as required that are commensurate with the job evaluation outcome for this post.
