An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Head of Property and Estates to join us at our Trust Central Team based at Bramcote College.

This role carries senior and professional responsibility for the development and delivery of all property and estates services across the Trust.  The post holder will provide building and construction expertise to support the development of the organisation and be the principal advisor on all land, property and estates matters to Trustees through the Executive Principal.  The post holder will work closely with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure all property and estates matters are considered as part of any additional schools joining the Trust. Quality, compliance, commercial awareness, knowledge of construction management and leadership will be paramount.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess a professional or vocational qualification, degree, HND/C, foundation degree etc. in any relevant discipline including: 

• building management;
• construction;
• surveying;
• business studies;
• engineering;
• property

Alternatively, we would welcome applications from another related role such as surveying, accountancy, logistics, building services or from an office management /administration background.

The successful candidate should also hold, or show a willingness to work towards a IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or NVQ 2 in Health & Safety.
