We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join our committed, and supportive team from September 2024. This role would be suitable for teachers in the early stages of their career. 

Kneesall C of E Primary School is a small, rural school that has community at its heart. Through our strong Christian ethos our school community work together to flourish, by nurturing courage, enabling kindness and instilling faith.   

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a highly motivated teacher with high expectations of what children can achieve
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective pedagogy (particularly teaching through continuous provision)
  • Is an outstanding teacher with excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Has a talent for bringing learning alive and is successful in securing children’s excitement for learning
  • Is a creative, active team member with a good sense of humour
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Has a positive outlook on life and an enthusiasm for learning
