Here in the Living Well Teams (North) we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who is committed to providing outstanding services for younger adults in Newark, Sherwood, and Bassetlaw.

 We are looking for:

  •  A qualified Occupational Therapist who is HCPC registered.
  • Evidence of study a post graduate level, for example Practice Placement Educator.
  • At least 2 years working at a Band B level (Band 6 and above in health) and be ready to take the next step in your career or be an experienced senior clinician who is looking for a change of direction.
  • The ability to take a strength-based approach to your leadership and work with people in a community setting.
  • Flexibility and a compassionate, inclusive manner.
  • For you to provide clinical leadership for Occupational Therapists within the team by the provision of supervision and ensuring that clinical standards are maintained. (This includes support with AYSE and OT progression).
  • For you to provide advice and support to your Team Manager and other professionals regarding Occupational Therapy practice.
  • Someone who can manage a small complex caseload including moving and handling and assist colleagues with safeguarding decision work. A good working knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grants for major adaptation work and specialist equipment is needed.
  • Develop links with local community health professionals, housing, district councils and other local services.
  • Support to managers to meet the departments’ performance and service delivery requirements, to manage systems effectively and to work positively within a culture of change.
