£7.78 - £7.90 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.75 per hour.

The Building Cleaning Service are looking to employ a new Cleaner to work in Stanhope Primary School. 

You will work as a team, to ensure that the highest standards of cleaning are achieved. The working times are 6am to 8.30am or 15.30 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday, this being on 52 weeks with 24 days leave entitlement moving to 29 days after 5 years’ service. These leave days to be taken in school shutdown periods. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated area within the School. Duties will include vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting and glass cleaning. The occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up may be required.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
