Hawthorne Primary is a popular school with a friendly community of staff, governors, children and families. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and caring upper key stage 2 teacher who has energy, creativity and a passion for education and who puts the children at the heart of everything they do.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an exemplary primary practitioner;
  • will be creative and innovative, making learning fun;
  • has high expectations of children’s achievements and behavior;
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • has a good knowledge of the national curriculum especially key stage 2;
  • has the ability to form good working relationships with children, staff, parents and carers;
  • has a growth mindset and good sense of humour;
  • has an excellent work ethic, ability to work well as part of a team as well as self-motivation and ability to work independently;
