There is currently an opportunity to work as a Mobile Cook One for the “Silver Accredited Food for Life, School Catering Services”. As a Mobile Cook you will be required to travel to various schools in the Rushcliffe area to provide cover as required. The successful candidate will be required to travel across the county so it is essential that you are able to drive and have access to transport enabling you to travel to sites, sometimes within short timescales. Mileage will be paid where applicable. At the kitchen you would then perform routine kitchen tasks such as preparing meals from the menus, serving customers and the cleaning and tidying of the kitchen areas, including washing up. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks and would be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. Ideally, you will have previous experience in catering, but this is not essential. If you have a flexible ‘can-do’ approach, the ability to deliver consistent excellence with a smile we can offer full training and the opportunity for career progression in return.
