We are looking for an experienced and creative Business Analyst to support the work of the change programme in Adult Social Care and Public Health Department which will commence shortly. This programme will develop sustainable change and help to ensure that Adult Social Care Services in Nottinghamshire remain fit for the future.

You will know how to use predictive analysis and other modelling to help the Business Commission Services, manage demand; challenge and improve existing practice and ensure greater value for money.

You will have a successful track record as a Business Analyst supporting business improvement and have a good working knowledge of a wide range of transformational business analysis tools and change management approaches. Strong numeracy and analytical skills are critical, including financial data, together with the ability to gather and analyse complex information from a range of sources, understand the business context, extract key points and draw conclusions to make recommendations.

In addition to strong technical skills you will need to have good communications skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to demonstrate the high levels of enthusiasm and personal resilience required to work in a changing environment.

Applicants with a purely Systems/ICT analyst background are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
