Hours: 30 hours per week 

We are looking to appoint a driven, highly motivated and experienced individual as our Advice Service Manager. You will be part of a small dynamic leadership team; will contribute to the development and delivery of the service; manage and inspire staff and volunteers and directly supervise and deliver high quality advice through face to face, telephone and other media.

The role will involve continuous review of all our existing service delivery channels with the aim of increasing efficiency and ensuring the integration and coordination of our services.

Currently our services are delivered by a mix of 9 paid staff members, and 40 volunteers. Our services are delivered at a number of locations across the Newark & Sherwood District.

Applicants will have substantial and recent experience of supporting advice work, including quality assurance; excellent communication and people skills and a positive and flexible approach. 

You will be able to demonstrate good influencing and communication skills and a track record in operational management and successfully supervising and managing people including volunteers.

You will have a sound knowledge of the Citizens Advice organisation, and previous experience in managing advice services.
