Due to the retirement of the existing post holder we are seeking to recruit a new South locality HRET Lead to take responsibility for the organisation and management of the HRET South Team. You will need to co-ordinate the work of the team to ensure that interim educational provision is provided to all pupils who are unable to attend school for physical or mental health reasons. This will involve both personally working, and deploying colleagues to work in pupils homes, hospitals, libraries, neutral areas as well as teaching on line or working from the HRET base. This is a cross phase post and will require you to liaise regularly with school leaders, parents and professionals in health, education and social services. You will need to be highly motivational and innovative with the ability to support families and colleagues through difficult times. This is a well established and highly regarded team.
Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
