HR Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our Multi Academy Trust Central HR Team. The successful candidate needs to be an enthusiastic team player to be part of our small but expanding Human Resources team to provide comprehensive, high quality HR administrative support.

The focus on this post is to provide an effective HR service to schools within Nova Education Trust. The successful candidate will be required to manage the recruitment process including posting adverts, carrying out recruitment checks, and the production and distribution of contracts. The HR Assistant will be the main point of contact for HR related queries from the schools, candidates and colleagues, as such they will need to be able to communicate confidently and confidentially at all levels to ensure quality customer service.

The post holder must have the ability to use IT packages as they will be required to maintain the HR/Payroll database accurately. Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must have the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently, work in a team, and have a high level of attention to detail. Basic HR knowledge and experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment would be beneficial.

The Nova offices are in the Sir Colin Campbell Building on the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus.
