Based within the Flying High Partnership (FHP) central team, the Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability and efficiency of all schools within a geographical hub. This role will be based within our south hub, which covers the geographical areas of Broxtowe, Gedling, Rushcliffe, Long Eaton and Nottingham City.

This role requires someone who is a finance professional that uses support and analysis to become a trusted adviser and partner to our school leaders, adding value, providing rigorous challenge and influences informed decision making.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Wants to use their finance and analysis skills in an organisation that makes a real difference
  • Is a highly motivated finance professional with a full or part accountancy qualification
  • Has experience of working within a high compliance finance and accounting environment
  • Is a highly effective communicator and able to convey financial information to non-finance colleagues
  • Is proactive and able to maintain motivation to deliver their role
  • Is a team player
  • Can work effectively without direction
  • Has an eye for detail
  • Is willing to roll up their sleeves up and get stuck into the wider Partnership activities
  • Demonstrates resilience
