Lyndene children's Home is situated in rural North Nottinghamshire. The home is rated "Good and "Outstanding by Ofsted. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about working with children. The successful applicant will join our very experienced and skilled team as a Night Care Worker.

The children living at the home have experienced acute disruption in their lives. They require significant support from their carer’s, to build positive relationships and make positive choices. 

You will need to be committed to working with children with emotional difficulties and be proactive in decision making. Within this role you are enabling children to remain safe and experience positive care that is consistent and nurturing. You will need to demonstrate resilience in the support you will offer children within your role. At Lyndene we strive to provide outstanding care to vulnerable children. Our aim and approach are to maximise the children’s life experiences to ensure they can be aspirational, have a real sense of belonging, make progress and achieve their individual goals.

This post offers excellent rates of pay, terms and conditions. There is a clear pathway for career development, with the opportunity to be enabled to complete the Apprenticeship, (Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare).

The successful candidate will be supported to complete a six-week induction period within a six-month probation period. You will receive on-going robust support from the Lyndene team. You will receive service specific training and regular supervision which will be facilitated by a manager.
