Legal Practitioner Childcare (3 posts)
Nottinghamshire County Council’s Child Care Section is looking to recruit 2 highly motivated Legal Practitioners to support solicitors in the conduct of childcare proceedings. Candidates will support solicitors in several ways including assisting in the overall management and administration of cases through to conclusion. This will include, amongst other things, drafting and preparing correspondence for court, taking of witness statements, attendance at court, following up on outstanding matters with departments and / or 3rd parties. Support may be provided across a broad spectrum of specialisms including civil and child care. Suitable candidates must have:
A. Good understanding and awareness of IT.
B. Good communication and organisational skills.
C. An ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
