An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Community Care Officer to work in the Older Adults Team in the Broxtowe district. The team is dynamic, hardworking and friendly, based in Beeston (covering the district of Broxtowe) working with older adults with a variety of complex needs.

We are looking for self-motivated and a dynamic individual who will enjoy the challenge of working in the team. Ideally you will have experience of working with older adults or other vulnerable adult groups and will be familiar with the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.  The team is committed to promoting independence and well-being of older adults and their carers.

This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in social work with older adults in a community setting. The role will involve undertaking assessments, and reviewing support plans, along with a wide range of case management tasks. We offer generous leave entitlement, excellent training opportunities and regular supervision. You will be provided with IT equipment for mobile and flexible working.

If you are interested in this post you can ring for an informal discussion with Kuljit Samra, Team Manager (0115-8041172) or Amy Warner Team Manager (0115-8041174)  at Broxtowe Older Adults Team.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
